Welcome to The Virtual Poly Museum!
Museums have historically been a place for social gathering and for the exchange of ideas about culture, politics and the different ways we see and imagine our worlds. Although we can’t socially gather, we have the unique opportunity to share Poly’s first ever Virtual Museum! Students in grades N-12 have been documenting life in quarantine, reconsidering historical artists’ interpretations of their societies, and critiquing representations of contemporary life.
We’re so excited to share a diverse array of galleries filled with drawings, paintings, embroideries, photographs and sculptures, exhibition proposals, project drafts, and more. As you explore, click on any image that entices you to find out more about the artist, the subject matter, and the materials used.
